Reflection:
I do not mean by this that the case will have a bunch of mirrors, although some mirrors will most likely be used. What I mean is that this case will be built to reflect me.
I started with the idea that I wanted to update some of the hardware in my computer. I am not going for the fastest and most up to date system. I just want something with a little more kick. I decided to go with a Pentium D processor because I could get it fairly cheap. It is running at 3.0 Ghz. I know it's not exactly the best CPU of the time, but hey... For the motherboard, I am going with an Intel G965. My graphics card will be a single 8500GT 512 MB. For starters, I am only putting in a single 2 GB stick of RAM.
I already own my PSU which is an ULTRA 550W X2-Connect Power Supply - Titanium w/ Blue UV. This will handle it right?
I haven't decided what I am going to do as far as my hard drive goes...
I also have a DVD +/- RW drive that will be used.
So, since the case is about me, I should probably tell you guys a little about me...
I play paintball, like the colors blue, green, and black, I am a DJ, I work at White Castle, I am a HUGE Sony fan! I love Sony..., and (like everyone else on here) LOVE MOUNTAIN DEW!
So I took a few hours yesterday and made a preliminary model of my new case. I took some pictures and will post them below... First I must use PhotoShop for a few minutes so that I can point out some things on the pictures. (It would help if I had PhotoShop installed. I forgot I wiped out my laptop... I guess I will use Paint! *Sarcastic Smile*)

Notice that the color splats on the pictures are for a basic color reference.
I don't know how long this mod will take me, but construction should start soon. I would just like to get a few more details put together for it.
Suggestions and comments are very welcome! I know I'm not great with cardboard... But constructive critisism definately desired!8)

Sorry about the hard to read text in the top picture... In case you can't read it, it says: "Will be clear plastic with green liquid inside for cooling system. Will also have Mountain Dew printed on the front."
**EDIT** There is no text on the top picture any more. This text was in referance to the green cylinders in the new pic.

Here is a little update for you guys... I have ONE idea so far for the left side.
The idea is that I could try my hand at etching, and etch this into a tinted piece of acrylic and put green light behind it. I would like to have more than just this on the side, or maybe not even this at all...
What do you guys think?
I also really like the biohazard sign, so I think I may try to morph the biohazard sign into the MD logo... That sounds cool... Off to work I go... :-)

I found this biohazard sign and I really like it...
http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/2265/biohazard2ed2.jpg
Now the question is do I use the Mountain Dew logo, the biohazard logo, or both...
I could still try and work on getting the biohazard sign morphed into the MD logo, but that will be when I get around to installing PhotoShop if I do...

Nice mockup dude. I'd use both of those logos, crack a joke with 'em. Like saying MD is a biohazard or something, lol. If you don't use it for that you could always put it somewhere else on the case.

Thanks.
I would really like to use both logos... hmmm... You really opened up a few ideas for me with that... Thanks a bunch Ryoken!

I think I am now going to go with a GeForce 7800GT 256MB graphics card. The only reason is that if I am going to have liquid resevoirs, I should probably utilize them and actually liquid cool my machine... The only problem is that I can't find a block for the other card. I am a complete noob to liquid cooling, so custom making one is definately out!
I want to keep the liquid cooling and computer hardware to a minimum.
Someone who knows liquid cooling... Please take a look at the following links and let me know if you think this will work. Also, please let me know if there is anything that I am forgetting. THANKS!

He is a little update... I got my motherboard, processor, and RAM in and needed to test them. While I had them out, I decided that now would be a good tome to make a mock up of the inside.

The 120mm fan will extrude from the bottom of the case and the case will be lifted from the ground on pegs or wheels...
Also, I have tried my hand @ etching on a scrap piece of Lexan, and I think I may have an idea, but I am not sure... Pictures of my practice work will be up on my next update. I am just about to the point where I CAN order my materials!!! I'm excited!

i'm not sure what " Recertified" means but i would take a 8600GT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130091) over the 7800, it's also a bit cheaper.
on to the water cooling part, you picked out some pretty weak/junky parts IMO and would change for them for these
while kits are for the most part POS swiftech makes good ones as it bundles its good parts as a kit.
i would buy this kit
http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-Apex-Ultra-H20-220-With-Apogee-GT-pr-3198.html
and add this water block and chip set to th kit, which can handle it.
http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCW60-R-VGA-cooler-pr-3777.html
^ is a gpu block, it will fit the 7800 if you go with it but i'm not sure if it fits the 8600gt, i will tell you in march when i get it :) i sent a email asking swftech, i will tell you the answer.
and here is a chipset block that should work
http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCW30-Chipset-cooler-pr-3251.html
if you don't like the price then i would go high end air.
i think i covered everything, hope it helps!
