Wow, that is sweet. My dad, brothers, and I used to go to this one place and pull the scrap wood out of this pile they had. They didn't mind either, lol.

ive got no idea what parts that we will get
servers and computers have generally simallar architecture to an extent an example of that is the nvidia quadro 4600 and the nvidia gforce 8800 gtx they are basically the same cards just one is for gaming the other is for workstations
but some server arhcitecture can be completly diuiferrent such as the intel itantiums and the current xeons (btw its xeon. xenons are a type of insanley bright bulbs used in cars)
some stuff will fit atx specs others will fit in EATX cases ( my old thermaltake armor uses EATX) so it will fit and other stuff will have weird ass form factors and ill have to post pics of them with like "wtf is this?"
also, most server drives fit as well since they are generally either 5.25inch (rare now but idk cuz there old drives) or they could be in 5.25" enclouseres
some stuff like redundant psus (unless u have a redundant psu bracket such as one like the one u can by for the lian li pc34b cube case)
registerred ram
processors with non desktop sockets ie socket 771 1207 940 603/4
scsi drives (now u have to use a controller card)
but yeah i shoudltnt have a problem with it besides im taking the cases as well (i want a rackmount cabinet for the band i record for cuz they have heads that are rackmountable
i havent been there yet so i dont know what parts there are gonna be
thats a shame, most companys in the UK send there drives off t be wiped, lucky my dad works for a Co that is the biggiest in europe for comp recycling,
and with this new WEEE directive, his work load has trippled, and companys nolonger throw stuff out, there not allowed, its against the law. :(

i completly agree with you i mean my dads job is load testing human resource servers for clients and all i could imagine is how many ppls datas could be potentially on these drives so u could get alot of data but i jus like fast drives i dont care about john does social security #

Actually, Xenon is an element (Xe), and a Noble Gas, strictly speaking. The bulbs use Xenon gas, however.

sry but yeah i did know that i didnt mention the gas because i thought he meant like another electrical part containing the gas not the element

I would probably go for just the raw cases. The 15k SCSI drives would be sweet (if they weren't thrown with too much force into a dumpster). The least you could get would be some sweet hard drive magnets.
Pics plz
