new case idea ?

thinking about trying to do a all plexi case but.... i was thinking get red blue green purple and yellow sheets of the stuff cutting them all up into shapes out of the old tetris game than making the two larger sides a puzzle with tetris peices ? think its a good idea ?

yeah that is crazy good i dont have 20 computers but im thinking like one sheet of clear plexi cut out the shapes in different colours than bolt them to the clear plexi i thought glue but it could just get really messy i wanna do a themed thing say one of the blocks push in for powe and reset and one for a remote drive bay use a 4 block tetris block as a drive bay cover and some how have a water coolin setup maybe usen a block as a water cooling tank i think there is so much you can do with this. althought how much do sheets of plexi cost ? this sounds expensive lol

A sheet of plexi (24x48 inches) costs around 35 dollars. Yeah. IT's acutally kind of hard to work with though, but if you are diligent can keep it , then you should be able to it. Sounds cool.

thats 609mm x 1219mm thats huge i want smaller sheets but more colours btw im in aus so i talk mm none of this inches stuff. i need a sheet of red blue purple yellow green thats the only colours in the old tetris wasnt it in the top i wanna have clear plexi than have tetris cut out of different colours if i make this it will be a good start to get sponsered to make more cases yeah ? after i have made a portfolio do u think anyone would buy the case ? to recover my money as if i outlay the money i really need to get it back.

For most people its a hard long road to get sponsored. Just one decent mod doesn't cut it for big sponsors. And they don't want a mod thats just going to sit in a persons room. They like mods that go to competitions and such.

Now I have no experience with PC modding sponsorships but I do know a thing or two about Martial Arts tournament team sponsors as my team was fully sponsored by Reebok for 4 years. Sponsors want to be seen, so ya, you gotta get yourself noticed.

And unless you know someone who wants the case ahead of time I wouldn't count on someone buying it off you, and if they do you probably won't make back the money put into it. So don't go into modding thinking its going to be a job persay that you can really make money off of, because honestly it probably isn't going to happen, atleast not right away. And most definitely not your first mod.


As for plexi, you can get them in 12"x12" sheets. Don't feel like doing perfect conversions right now but your talking about like 30cmx30cm or something like that. And here in the USA you can usually get those for like $3 USD a piece from online dealers.
