Woohoo 5TB of storage in one machine with Quad Processors.
Yes its a bit of Over kill of the PSU power. Soon its going to cost more to run a computer 24/7

I suppose you could use a "Now I don't have to worry about what's in the system" mindset to justify it. I personally never use PSUs under 500w, even when I know a 300 would do the job, just so I don't have to think about it if I add things later on....

yea but i mean 1000 watts. All the new components are being designed to less power now. So these massive watt psu's arent as neccesary I admit i just bought a 650watt psu but honestly i only got it cuz i was planning to run SLI and i wanted to just make sure i had a sli cert psu :)
