Not sure how often something of this nature would come up, but should anyone here ever come across a situation where you've got doubts about the hardness or thickness of your aluminum, or problems with your paint, drop me a PM. I work as a quality tech in an aluminum window and door factory; I've got access to all of the tools necessary for testing this stuff. Just figured I'd offer. :D
