Im just joking, this is my first time using a tablet, and i was just messing around. TBH i suck at drawing IRL so, i dont expect any improvement.

Wish I still had mine. They're awesome tools.

Pretty much everything I draw these days is on the computer with a tablet. My sig (and the old one) is one such example.

I loved my tablet but was never great at it. One thing that kinda got my hands used to using it was tape a magazine pic over the tablet and work on copying it with the pen. It's just kinda practice to get used to it.

I love my tablet, and i suppose being good at drawing normally helps.

Not sure what tablets you guys have, but I saw one at work recently which made me dribble...

At first I thought it was just a very big screen, but it was also a tablet. I've seen the smaller ones, but the advantage of this one is that you draw right on the image itself, rather than on a sort of mouse mat thing. Never seen one like that before.

Pressure sensitive too, so you can do stuff like draw lines with varying thickness by varying the pressure.

ive seen that before. its not a tablet, its actually a pc. Last time i remember it had some killer specs

Nope, this one was plugged into a huge Mac, along with a standard screen which had all the other windows on it.

It's a Wacom Cintiq ;)

They're NOT cheap.

My A5 Wide Intuos3 does all of that, bar the image on the tablet you can make your own with a bit of knowhow and modding.

I have a little 5"x4" tablet that I like using. The only problem is the aspect ratio of the working area on the tablet is different to the aspect ratio of my screen. So the pointer doesn't move like you'd expect it to, but I'm getting used to it. :)

It'll do for now though, but if I had the money I'd get one of the bigger Wacom tablets.
One of these, maybe. (http://www.wacom-shop.net/cgi-bin/wacom.storefront/en/Product/PTZ&2D1230&2DD)

That Cintiq is insanely cool. I saw this scratch built DIY tablet (http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.fabiennemaurer.com/flo/tablet/TabletBook-Images/29.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.fabiennemaurer.com/flo/tablet/&h=480&w=640&sz=32&hl=en&start=33&tbnid=oLp07kYyGPGLlM:&tbnh=103&tbnw=137&prev=) a long time ago where a dude built his own but it seems like all of the links other than the first page are no longer working.
