One our resident artists imagispre had a cool idea. I'm going to post a blank canvas and link to the .psd file below. Each artist can sontribut to the pic and we'll see what becomes of it.

The rules:
1)Do not edit or delete another member's layer.
2)Members are allowed a total of 2 layers per member.
3)You may shift the postion of layers, by position this is in reference to how close to the front or back they are... not their relation to the edges etc
4)You must keep the file in the same 1280x1024 size.
5)When uploading you must save and upload as a psd so as to allow others to edit
6)Keep it TBCS themed and PG
7)if you want to participate, post first. When you post those who post after will have to wait till you are finished and upload... first post first serve
8)have fun
*of course the forum rules apply, no pornography, violence, profanity, etc...

We're allowed 2 layers each? could we work on more and flatten it into 2 or 1 layer? or what?

And umm Jon, if you expect people to attach their piece the .psd attachment size might want upping from 19.5Kb... it'll go way past that.

NOTE IM NOT GOING NEXT so someone else can go, im just asking questions and im way to busy atm.

Nope. Just stick with the 2 layers you initially get. ^_^ Sorry. It'll just allow for it to look more like a group thing.

Maybe even rename each of your own layers like your username then like number 1 for the first layer and number 2 for the second ^_^ tha'd be a neat way of keep track

PS-I'm not going next either. I'll wait a bit and see how this is going. I'm pretty excited.

Gah! I knew I should've installed the Photoshop plugin for the program I use... ah well. I'm too frustrated with class at the moment to feel like doing too much work on the PC anyway.

Added two layers, background layer, and TBCS logo, Also i renamed your layers computer geek, there now called computer geek 1, 2, Mine are XcOM 1,2

I would be a good idea if everyone signes the layers with there screen name.

I have hosted it on my website, its 3.5MB now!!!!!!

I think you CAN do more then 2 layers, then merge/flatten with the rest of YOUR layers, as long as it adds up to 2 or less when you upload it, then i dont see why anyone will hassle you.

I increased the upload limit for psd files so let me know if the top off. Also, remember that the forums resizes all posted images to 800px in width so the pic will look funky on the forums, you have to open it in a new window and maximize to see it in true resolution.

EDIT: For some reason it's not liking the large psd files even with a 4GB limit. So you may just have post these as png's or jpeg's

Hang on, if you upload it as a jpeg or png, then the layers will be lost. I'm confused. What?
