Hey guys. I know i asked this question a long time ago, but i need to ask it again. I am planning to mod a Cooler Master Centurion 5 case and it has 2 grills on the side, one for a fan and the other for venting and a handle.

The cutout i am planning would probably have to go through all of them, so i was wondering: How would i use bondo to fill them if there is nothing behind them??? It seems to me that the bondo would either ooze through the back or fall out after it hardened.

And another thing. the grill for the fan bulges outward form the case and the handle dips into the case. Obviously i want them to be flat. Is there any thing i could do to fix this, such as cut them out and then make a replacement pieces to fit in the hole? Im not sure how the replacements would attach to the rest of the case. Would bondo hold them on?

You can check out my case ideas in the Idea Zone under Ohio State Case Mod Ideas. Sry for not fully explaining but i have to go right now.

you an press something against the back of the holes while you bondo it so that it doesnt ooze through, anything flat and sturdy should work.

dont worry about it bulging out, you can sand it off. Cutting it out and using bondo to hold another piece in isnt the best idea, if you really had to cut it out, then i would try an epoxy or glue (guerilla glue) to seal it to the case then bondo over it.

well, i think im gonna try and find a case with a blank (no holes)
side panel and use that instead of doing all that work to fill in the
holes on the Centurion. Anyone have any suggestions?

just take the panel off the other side and switch it over.
