Hey i just wanted to share a little projetc i just did :) I had an old Bc Rich Mockingbird that i didnt use ( just playing my Bc Rich Beast and my Gibson Les Paul) So i thought that id give the old guitar a brand new Biomech look. Theres not much to say about the work itself its a bunch of random pieces from different modelkits and other stuff i found and then alot of putty. Finally some sanding and paint.
Ill let the images do the talking and i hope youll like what you see :)

That's badass. Now get yourself in a band and rock people worldwide!
Or submit that to Guitar Magazine or something, I bet you could get an article on it if you wanted to.

This is why my co-worker will not even add a fan to his rig.
I am toying with the idea of building the "Floor Tom Computer" for him...
Yes he is a drummer.

Nice. I have been toying with the idea of a guitar mod. But I haven't found the right one yet. I have been looking for one that needs repair. That way if I destry it I don't feel too bad. Does yours still play like the first time?

Yes the Mockingbird works just as good after the mod as it did before so no problems there :) As long as you stick to just modding the body then you should be alright and moving the electronics around in a guitar is very easy since it very simple stuff that makes a guitar go. The only thing is that when you do more extreme mods and cutting in to the body then you might make the integrity of the guitar weak and when you tune it TWANG it foldes together :)

For some reason when you said "BC Rich" I was thinking Rickenbacher and was like WTF??!!
Good job, my brother is actually building a guitar in shop class and plans to do a mechanical/rusted/industrial look.

Magnus, you are insane! Tampering with Rich? I must admit however, it does look cool. I owner a B.C. Rich virgin for years, it was my nicest guitar but I always wanted an ESP instead.

I tried this in high school shop class and all went well until I got to the fret board. No matter what I did I couldn't get that damned thing leveled right. I ended up scrapping it as a real guitar and used it as a component of a table, which I later broke while intoxicate-wrestling.

Well this Mockingbird was the cheap one of the guitars i have there was no way i was going to mod my Black Bc Rich Beast NJ or the love of my life my 1992 Gibson Les Paul studio. And one of my Acoustic guitars would just look stupid modded this way :D So thats why i choose the Mockingbird.
