Most people here cant throw together a NEW mod within 1-2 months. Given the fact most of us work and or are a student, things never go as planned, and cold weather makes everything more frustrating.

I wanted to give you all as much advanced notice as I could. I know modding can be time consuming.

You guys really should talk to the other Microcenters about joining you in the modding competition thing. I would be going to the Cambridge one EVERY time it happened. Shoot, I go there all the time as it is. I love newegg.com but I also love being able to just go to microcenter and work with the guy I always work with and walk out with product.
Microcenter FTW! If only Cambridge and others had competitions as well. You should ask corporate about it maybe please?...?!!...!? :D
I'd drive down to Jersey, but I'd spend more than 250$ on gas just to attend :(

I think the reason is space. The new ones are huge and have the information theater to hold the contests in.Godd thing i live in NJ! unfortunalty im not worried about modding yet.

Right now only the Paterson & Rockville stores have the Knowledge Theater, If it becomes a sucsess in these stores, it will roll out to all the stores.

Ehh, I'll just take it as its not coming to Cambridge, atleast any time soon. The Cambridge Microcenter would have to build up, as in add another floor. They couldn't just add on laterally, because there is already a big enough issue with parking, with having to share with trader joe's and such.
The Cambridge store would have to be out of commission the whole time it was being built. Ohh well. Good luck to those attending Maryland and Jersey!

Video was ok. A little slow though. Most of us modders need intense stimulation in order to comprehend whats going on :D
Thats why we mod. We have to have something to keep us busy, less we go insane

How do I get the MicroCenter in Dallas, Texas to pick up this ball and run with it? It is a big enough store, and I've always loved shopping there! I would think a modding contest would be cool there!

Your getting better with the videos. I see you took some of the hints :D.
I still found myself skipping past the first 20seconds of one word at a time. Just doesn't work for me. But maybe some people like that.
The end did a better job keeping things moving. The beginning was just the issue least imo.
Good job Dan! for getting in the video

I actually made the BF2 Video part of the segment. I sent it to him to add it into the video. Thats why my name is on my part.

I liked that part of the video. Everything but the first 20 seconds was great. The one word every three seconds thing just doesn't work for me. But maybe others like it. ehh...
