Yep, I'm gonna be in college in less than a month. And my parents were gracious enough to get me an HP laptop for school.

Turion64 X2 2.2Ghz
2 gigs ram
dual hard drives (120+80)
vista home premium
10-key keypad
1.3megapixel webcam and mic
remote control
802.11a/b/g/n
17" widescreen
dvd burner with lightscribe

I was looking for an intel-based laptop but they were all 1.5ghz, too slow for my preference.

Ok, enough about the laptop, I'm going for my Associates degree in Computer Information Technology, so with work in the day and classes in the evening, I will officially have no life, haha. Atleast I have no classes on Friday, Saturday or Sunday! :D:up:

Dual HDDs in a laptop, cool.

I can do it in my Dell if i buy a caddy to ho in the DVD drive, would be a real good investment.

Very nice spec :)

Vista? You need to "upgrade" to xp.

I ordered my laptop with vista thinking 2 gigs would be fine, but I freaking hate it.

Have you tried using a 'Readyboost' USB drive?
