Its not PCI-express is it. If so thats a new type of PCI slot and the card might not be compatible with your mobo

Hmm, i dont know man... the forsure way to check it to frankenbox it. Take your mobo out of your case and try putting it in on the table, check if yoru comp boots, and doesnt get any POST errors.

hmmm information.....ok.....when i put the card in... it won't push in all the way... it goes about halfway and it feels like if i push it in anymore that it will break.
thats about it...
here is a pic of the mother board.... http://www.newegg.com/app/Showimage.asp?style=album

your link: No more picture. :)
possibilities i can think of:
-there is a transistor or something on your mobo in the way
-there might be a lock on the pci slot
-you got crackers/broken pieces of an old pci connector/dust or anything stuck in the slot
-it might be broken, try it with an other card, or try the rest of your pci slots
-make sure there is nothing on the card trying to block it
-you might just need to push it harder

-there might be a lock on the pci slot

how do unlock it?
i don't want to waste 120 bucks for a card i can't use.....

just like the agp and memory slots have locks on them. although it is not like to have a lock like that on pci slots, i mentioned it just to make sure. and a couple pictures would still be nice :)

Is this (http://www.futurepowerpc.com/scripts/details.asp?PRDCODE=VCPO-R92PLD3&REFID=&tab=1) the card you have?

Also since you failed to post a working link to the mobo then you are more than welcome to post the brand and model instead so we can take a look for ourselfs.

i couldn't push it down because it was pressing the mobo so i just took off the bracket that was next to the card and then i easily pushed it in. :)
