We had about 3 inches fall in under 2 hours today. Took me almost 2 hours to get to work, and I packed a bag in case I can't get home tomorrow.

Work campout FTW!

Thats probably what we got hit with here in NE. Wasn't keeping track but when the weather came on they said a dusting at about 2 inches. Yeah, When I looked at my car there had to be something like 4-6 inches. I was thinking where are they forecasting for cause its not us.

I lived there for about 11 years... I miss it. I'd like to move back but I don't know anyone there or my way around at all. I'll probably go there for vacation over the summer to visit an old friend if all works out right.

You people and your snow. I'm outside mowing the lawn (well not now, but I was earlier) in 60 degree weather =p.

I know, tell me about it! Its the middle of winter AND its almost Christmas and what do we get? Rain. ...rain?? What the hell? How do we get rain in freezing weather? idk man, god must be using coolant instead of rain these days or something. lol

God: "Yo Jesus, check this out!"

*Jesus reads label on container at the godsmarket*

Jesus: "Hmm, Stays wet up to negative twenty degrees. Wait, but isn't water supposed to freeze at thirty something degrees though?"

God: "Exactly!"

Jesus: "Genius!"

Random Digg User: Profit!!

*Random Digg User backs away slowly...*

*God uses Smite level 7 on Random Digg User*

God: What? I was just doing the world a favor...

Yea, well, I kind of hate you. So there. lol

As much as I like the Snow, I gotta admit, warmer weather is always nice.

It rained like hell where I live, made some noise, wasn't much to it. Some idiot got in a wreck doing 90mph on the highway like they usually do, but that's nothing new. They drive too fast here no matter the weather...

The snow storm you get in north central U.S. made the news even way up here in northern Canada. As far as people driving like idiots in the bad weather, that doesn't change no matter where you go. Some people think they are invincible. I remember driving from Edmonton to Calgary, (about 3 hr drive with good weather at 110 km/h.) in a blizzard and doing about 40 km/h thinking I was going as fast as I dared and the same speed as almost everyone else. Some idiot passed me doing normal highway speed. 10 minutes later I came across this same idiot in the ditch upside down. He flipped his car 4 times, lucky he wasn't killed.

We had snow here in Montana earlier this month, but it's all gone in the lower elevations.

Next summer doesn't look too good at the moment--too dry.

Omega; That is why I moved away from Colorado to the sunny California state. I love snow, I just don't like to commute in it or shovel it. BUT, last week it never got warmer than 45f at my house. (and the lawn does need mowing!)

It started raining at my house last night around 9pm. Went into work late this morning (had to download a RedHat DVD and my connection is 10x faster than work) and by the time I left the rain gauge showed 4"! Lookout Tahoe! ...and the rest of the nation, a wet one is rolling through! Look for some massive dumpage in the Sierra's. Anyone for a carpool to Kirkwood? My snowboard and gear has been tuned and ready since the beginning of October.

I had to drive through Central Illinois this past weekend and it was approx 8-10 inches down there. And there were about 40 cars and 1 overturned semi in the ditches and on the side of the road.
