Try disconnecting the front panel USB connectors from the motherboard, and connecting it to one of the ports on the back.

I've seen some issues with pin differences between front ports and the headers on the boards... including a complete system lockup, and a reboot.

hmm seems strange. im looking at your machines stats cause i have usually found that this kind of thing happens if your psu isnt big enough but concidering the other devices in your pc it should be able to handle it. the only other time that i have seen this it was a short in the connector but obviously if it works for even one device this cant be the problem. seems like a good mystery.

Haha.. I always assume that drivers and software have been ruled out in situations like this.

Never assume. ;)
