What flash drive do you have and how much capacity is it? What have you used and what do you like/not like?

I've got some Memorex 1gb U3-enabled mini-flash drive that I lost a while ago (and by that I mean it's on my desk and I can't be bothered to find it).

I use it to back up files from my laptop (that thing is about to die, I swear) mostly, and transferring files between computers too sometimes.

I like it. It was cheap, it works, and it's small.

I have more than I can count. Most 1Gb or 512mb. Bought a bunch, got a few free from school etc.

They all seem to do the same thing. I hate the U3 crap, and if I used the things enough I would look into how to delete/disable it from startup as the schools computers freak out from the process running.

I have a 12GB IO Magic drive where the USB flips up and it was awesome. Lately, I think that the flip up part is losing conectivity because it doesn't always turn on.

I have a 10GB mini HD. It literally is a 2,700RPM Hard drive. And it's tiny!
I love it, and use it to transfer files.

I have a Kingston Datatraveler 4gb. Purple and white *gag* but it's been absolutely 100% reliable. Hell, it even went through the washer and dryer, and didnt even lose a file from it!

I know that the Voyagers are the tough ones, but I'd say this one is definitely worth the roughly $40 it costs now!

I have a 4GB Sandisk Cruzer. U3 enabled (not that i use the U3 it screws with the college systems)

I love the fact the USB port is retractable, and it has an activity LED so if its flashing i won't pull it out.

256 MB Lexar JumpDrive Sport - it still works, but the rubber cap has been completely worn out. I tried to fix it with staples.

1 GB Memorex traveldrive - it's OK, but if feels flimsy where the USB connector meets the plastic.

2 GB Kingston DataTraveler - I like this one the best. I'm thinking about getting the 4 GB one.

4 GB Cruzer micro - it has U3. I got it for $30 at Office Depot.

256MB Lexar JumpDrive. Got it for Christmas about 4 years ago when 256MB cost 40 bucks at Best Buy. Wife has a 1gig she was going to give me. She got it free from some web site.
I use mine for work mostly. Has Portable Firefox on it and I copy all my e-mail attachments from home. Work still is using dial up so its faster to get everything I can at home and bring it with me.

It even went through the washer and dryer, and didnt even lose a file from it!
Ditto on that one. I freaked out and plugged it in and was relieved when everything came up.

1 gb sandisk cruzer. doesnt connect anymore... think its due to the pop out nature of the usb plug. gonna bust it open and see if there are wires loose etc.

Sore finger drive! (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6932)
I also have a 1GB Kingston DTI (http://compuplus.com.mx/tienda/images/usb%20kingston%201%20gb.jpg) which works well enough but the connector cover is already broken. My first was a 16MB Sony Datavault, whch I eventually gave away. That was a good one. I also had another Sony, 512MB this time, but it blew up. :(

Then there's This one (http://www.lotechdesigns.com/host/images/7862memorystick.jpg).

I thought about posting that a while ago. I never did though. I myself went for the 2GB one instead.

I have a 4gb Cruzer. I love the thing. I got it on sale about a year or so ago for $30. I use it to store all my programs and essays for school. Plus I have room for music for when I find myself in a boring PC lab. Also, it did have that annoying U3 software when I got it. I removed that with a utility I found on google and instead installed Portable Apps (www.portableapps.com), so I can run firefox, open office, pidgin, and many other little programs anywhere (even some encryption so I can secure my files).

EDIT: It seems alot of people hate that U3 as much as I did. It seems there is now a link for the removal tool right on the U3 site. It does reformat your card, so you will loose any data on it, but just back it up before you run the tool and then transfer it back again. Heres the link: http://www.u3.com/uninstall/

I got my 16GB Corsair Voyager in and as I expected it's only 14.1GB because of the whole rounding down thing that the manufacturers do. Has anyone ever called and complained about that? I wonder if I can get some goodies if I call.

A 512 meg Kingston that is labeled 'Last Resort'. Contains DBAN.
Two or three 1 gig models, various manufacturers, containing personal info (taxes mostly).
And a two gig Kingston in the mail from Buy.com. Thanks to Rick for the killer link!
