View Full Version : I registered for classes last night
So I'm finally going to start going to school again now. Today I met with an advisor at the school and got all of the classes registered. For now, there weren't that many options for extra classes and such. I'll have to do some of those in the fall semester instead. I plan on taking some things all through the summer though. I placed into the highest English class there is, even though when I was in high school they didn't want to move me up in the class. I placed in a low math class though, but that's because the damn highschool kept me in the same class for ****ing 3 years straight, and then I've been out of school for 2 years and forgot everything.
So anyways, I have my English class, my math class, Intro to Engineering & Tech, and Digital Photography I. In the fall semester, I plan on doing more like taking some foreign languages.

Sounds good dude.
Highschool sucks. It's all drama and hardly any education, at least the one I went to anyway. I hope you don't have to take "Intro. to Computers." That class showed everyone how to move, make, and rename folders, and also went through M$ Office '07 (which was horrid by the way). I got a 5 on PowerPoint because I sent the wrong file in and she wouldn't accept the right one. /rant
Good luck dude. They say college is different from HS but I dunno... what language are you going to take?
Once falls comes around, I plan on taking two languages. I want to take Japanese to help me with engineering, but it's a nontransferable credit, so it won't count when I go to another school. German, however, will count, and Germany is one of the leading technological countries along with Japan. So I'm willing to do both. After all of that, I'll look into a study abroad program. And the highschool I went to, there was seriously something wrong with it and the people there. I won't get into all of it now, but I have before. I've been gone from there for 2 years, and I never want to go back.

I'm also planning on taking German sometime... in fact, I'd like to possibly even move to Germany for a while even if it's temporary.
I feel the same about the school I went to. That whole county is seriously screwed up.
