So today I awaken to find a picture of my car slipped under my apartment door. As I read the paper it says that I am being towed tomorrow. Thinking maybe my sticker got covered up by more snow I go out and check. Nope, all clear.

There is a bit of snow on the top of the car, maybe 2feet wide by 2-3feet long, just on the roof, because I couldn't reach it easily with the stainless steel bar in my chest hurting and inhibiting motion.

So I go to talk to management, and ask them whats up. Without looking at the pic they tell me its because I am snowed in and the plows have to clean the road/parkinglot. So if I don't move my car to a clean spot then I will be towed in the morning.

I get pissed. Im like, ahhh my spot is the cleanest spot out there, my girlfriend and I spent 5 hours yesterday cleaning it, all the while I am in pain from the bar in my freaking chest. She says, I quote, "The tow truck comes at nine, as does the plow. If you don't move the car to a clean spot then your car will be towed". MY CAR IS IN THE CLEANEST SPOT IN THE LOT!!!!

I show her the pic they snapped, you can see the lines of the parking spaces and I am clearly in one spot(as she suggested I wasn't). She tells me that if I don't clear off the bit of snow on top then I will be towed, but my spot looks fine as "the plows couldn't clean it any better than that", but I have to clear off the top or I will get towed.

WTF!!!!!! I can take the car and go for a drive and not have an issue with a cop or anybody with the little amount of snow on my car. I swear they get F*cking commission by the amount of cars that get towed. If I get towed tommorrow I will be sooo freaking pissed. This really pisses me off. They probably charge more than the tow truck does so they make money off each car. My car is in the cleanest damn spot in the lot.

Off to take a freaking percocet because my freaking bar and bracket are killing me from getting that little F'n bit off the damn car.

I just want to move into the woods some where and freaking build a damn house by hand and not have to deal with anyone anymore.

Edit: I will freaking sue their asses if I do get towed and they do it without a flatbed tow. Sporty cars and regular tow trucks do not mix.

Screw the woods dude! I have a plan of moving to Antarctica and having these low profile domes that are partly underground and are powered by a couple hundred small wind generators placed over a couple miles. It's still a work in progress, but a good idea.

Sounds like the people that own/work in the apartments you live in are real jerkasses. And that woman sounds like a pawn to me... no ounce of personality in her but god knows what.

Take it easy dude, lol.

Lol, I will be taking it easy here pretty soon as the meds kick in. These are prescription percocets, Im not a druggie lol just to clear this up.

I also have a bottle of 800mg ibuprofens, and a bottle of muscle relaxants (these ones are the medicinal version of roofies pretty much).

So not too long and I will be gone. I don't take meds, I hate them. I am supposed to take these whenever I feel pain from the bar, but I never take them. But right now its hurting like hell. If you haven't gotten this surgery believe me, you don't know much about pain. When I got it I wanted to die. Simple as that. I am real good with pain, but I wanted to die during that week. The doctors claimed that this was pretty much the worse surgery to get in terms of pain, but the outcome is worth it. They warned me that I pretty much would want to die. Things are better though. lol. Off to lalaland here pretty soon.

Everything they said was very vague though. It was like they could tow anyone they wanted for any reason they wanted. I swear money is involved in this situation. I wish I could get to the bottom of this.

I don't know much about which drugs people abuse and whatnot. I hate taking them too, I only take mine so I don't become depressed and a waste of time, lol. Hormone supplements... bah.

In the 5 months since my surgery this will be the second time ive taken ONE since I was originally weened off them after surgery. They make me feel horrible, as does every drug/medicine I take for the most part.

About the towing thing...I figured out which part bugs me the most.

People who spend hours cleaning off their cars and the spots get screwed. The woman told me"to just clean off the top of my car and move to a clean spot". So they tell the lazy people who didn't clean the spots to just brush the snow on the ground and go take someone elses spot who worked hours cleaning it.

That is what REALLY sends me over the edge. Because then the people come back and don't have a clean spot and then get their car towed. I was talking to one of the guys and thats what happened to him.

FREAKING retarded.

"Ya you didn't clean your spot, so just move your car to a clean spot"

Someone else took the time to clean a spot and you go and take it when they move and then they come back and get towed. F*cking ridiculous.

Wow. Isn't that a good ethic to live by there? Humanity (minus a few people I know) is pretty much turning into a bunch of animals. But animals don't feud so much over stuff, they mark their territory and it seems like there's a little more respect going on. Depends on the species though, it really does.

Its just ridiculous that they tell people that. Ohh just go park in a clean spot then you don't worry about having to be towed. There is really only enough spots for the people living here too, so its not like there is a bunch of free spots. So someone has to park in the ****hole spot that that person left.

Pisses me off.

My girlfriend went to her final, so if someone takes the spot we cleaned, that I hurt myself over, I am going to jump off the balcony and tackle that person. Shoot I won't feel the pain now :p

And were only on the second floor...

Are you living in the states? If so, go down to your HUD (Housing and Urban Development) office and file a report. This is discrimination, nothing more, nothing less.

Ya, I live in Mass.

I understand that the spots need to be cleared for people to park, but i don't see where the plow has anything to do with it. People just clear their spots and the issue is settled.

Telling some lazy person to just move to someone elses spot or they will be towed is ridiculous.

And why some snow on the top of my car should justify towing is beyond me. The spot is clear. Snow ON the car, which impedes nothing, should have no bearing on the issue.

Wait for the tow truck to show up and go sit in your car and warm it up. Don't move until they leave. It is illegal to tow a vehicle or even hook up a vehicle with a person inside.

Side note:
While living in southern California in a town called Belmont Shores, I made extra cash twice a week moving cars from one side of the street to the other. On Tuesdays they cleaned one side, Wednesdays the other. Your car had to be moved by 5:30AM or it would get towed! I had the keys to several of my neighbors cars and since I worked the night shift I would come home, move the cars I could, then head to the sports bar just in time for last call. After the bar closed I would move the rest. I charged $5 a week per car. Paid for my beer.

I might have to. Its just retarded. Just doesn't make any sense at all.

They are so worried about parking spaces maybe they should throw down some sand or salt before they get sued from people falling. They plow the parking lot, but then don't throw anything down so it turns into a sheet of ice.

I've fallen, and when I fall its not good. I can't move/get back up because of the bar and pain. They could have some serious issues with that. They should start concentrating on things that matter.
