I agree with all of Spawns listed components, however I would change the Swiftech MicroRes to a Danger Den 5 1/4" drive bay reservoir or equivalent. Also with the radiators the HW Labs Black Ice GT Xtreme 240mm rad is one of the best on the market but if you can fork out a little bit more cash and get a ThermoChill radiator.

In answer to your question, yes I would recommend building a w/c rig for your first build. I did it and I am sure many other members of this forum have also done it.

I didnt watercool my first build, it wasn't cheap then (or as cheap as it is now), but my 3rd build i did, its pretty easy to do, check and double check everything, fill a little, pump a little, fill a little, pump a little. Worked for me.

Theres really only two reasons to watercool your pc.
1. Looks, if you make or mod a case then seeing a color schemed loop is cool, but throwing it into a regular case with nothing custom, is just meh.

2.Your "poor" but love to overclock, wcing will only slightly increase your cooling, its not some miracle water that makes heat disappear.

unless you find yourself occupying both positions then its not worth your money.

thermochill is the best and swiftech rads come next then the HD series.

but it will help with ocing, if you think you have oced your chip to the limit via air and transfer to water you can most likely get a better oc with water with it being cooler. also it will help make things last longer.

But just remember. If your as soon as you remove the heatsink or muck with your graphics cards you void the warranty. If something goes wrong your stuffed.

After thinking about it I would get a non conductive coolant just to be safe.
