paypal won't work

on my computer using mozilla or IE paypal just doesn't want to load, whether i get linked to it via ebay or type it right in the address bar. it will work on my dads computer which are connected via the same ip address so i don't think i was banned if thats even possible.

any ideas?

There might be some script that isn't loading properly. Make sure both Firefox and IE are updated.

Worst case is that your settings were changed by a site using Active X Controls. Do a system restore, to change your settings back to a time when paypal did work.

if i reinstalled both would that fix the problem? though i'm thinking if i tell it to keep the old settings it would carry the problem to the new installation.

i will try both ideas and see what happens. for now i don't care but i might reinstall windows once i get another hdd.

I would just toss the temp files from the browser, and make sure it's restored to default settings, and test again. :)

Get the portable version of firefox if you want to test without reinstalling
