I decided I want to create a very simple case. So, I was wondering if you could recommend the needed tools and materials for this case. Note, I don't want to put any hardware in it yet, so electrical work is not needed. It is more of a practice case.
I want to create a completely blue case, a glossy blue. And on both sides of the case I want to create a yellow window. With visible bolts. Then I plan on using masking tape to create yellow stripes. And that shall be my first case.
So, I know I need to buy blue paint and some sort of gloss, yellow paint and some sort of gloss. I want the cheapest case possible that is cuttable. Cheap yellow transperant plexi-glass but not too thin. And the tools needed to create this case. So basically I wan't to know the specific types of paint I should get and where to get it. The specific dimensions of the plexi-glass and where to get it. The cheapest case and where to get it. And what tools I need. The cheapest ones that will still do the job and not make it too difficult. I already, have a saw that should cut the metal, but not sure for the plexi-glass. Like drilling holes and cutting it.
Thanks, Jake
