Howdy. I am going to start a "fully contained briefcase computer" next month when I get my new system. I am going to start a mock-up in the next few days, but I need the length, width and heigth of my new motherboard before I can start. It will be a Pcchips P25g P4 Via P4m800 S.478 800fsb.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Also if anyone knows the measurements to a rather standard power supply size, that would be helpful as well.

Thank You

See my reply in the other forum.. I gave you a link to the Manufacturer's website. The link goes directly to the specs of this mobo.

PSU standard size is

6"x6"x3.5"

or takin from http://www.xoxide.com/pc-power-and-cooling-turbo-cool-510w-sli.html and looking under misc..
Dimensions: 5.9” x 3.4” x 5.5” (W x H x D)

information you asked on both sides are very easy to access and get. Research is always something that is good to do.

Thank you both. I used to work on computers a lot, but I haven't owned any desktop systems in about 2 years. I have been using laptops, and I left all my old equipment at a buddies house. Then I go over there last month to pick up a few things, and I find out he accidently sold almost all my stuff in a garage sale. More specifically, his mother in law who ran the sale while he was at work. So now all I have is a few old hard drives, cd-roms, floppy drives, and an assorted box of wires, connectors, fans and led's. He gave me the money my stuff pulled in though. That was definitely cool. So now certain parts of my mock-up will be paper-board and card-board. Thanks again, and Thanks for listening (reading) my little venting session here.

no prob... so did you buy this mobo from that money or was this not sold?

I actually used that money for my PSP and accesories, and unfortunately no mobos survived the garage sale. They would for the most part be obsolete now anyway. I'm buying a package from ascendtech here:

Then I'm going to take the thing up to max specs over my next few paychecks after that. I'm going to be starting a worklog here in the next few days. Since I'm not going to have the computer until about the middle of next month, and I now have all the measurements ;-), I'm going to start a mock-up in my old briefcase that is the same make and model as the one the final product will be in.
