TBCS Modders,
You are clearly an extremely gifted and tenaciously hard working group of artists. We have been planning on putting together a way of recognizing those of you who have accomplished some or all of a few milestones that commemorate your advancement through your modding careers. It's not much, but it's our way of saying that we are proud to have been able to see you progress as artists and revolutionary thinkers. We has integrated an award system which brands your profile with various achievement medals describing your feats. This list is not complete as we will be adding more accomplishments to our list of salutes. Many of you do not have any medals yet, and this should not discourage you because we at TBCS are confident that there is not a single modder here who cannot achieve anything you set your minds to. All of the goals these medals represent can be reached by any member with ingenuity and hard work. Keep up the amazing projects and know that we have been enormously impressed and grateful to have been a part of your work! Congrats to you who have already bagged a few of these and if you have accomplished something on the list let me know so I can add your medal (I have many, many more to update so if I missed yours don't feel bad...5000+ active members....).

neato, good to see awards to help motivate people!
by max rep do you mean the max in terms of green boxes?

LOL, To be perfectly honest with you we haven't decided. So many of you have skyrocketed up in rep that we have considered putting in a logarithmic type scale that would be near impossible to max. If that ends up being the case then we will likely go with boxes. Though we have also considered adding new colors to the boxes too. So for now we are still in deliberation over that one, if it becomes too much of a headache to figure out we'll drop it and give props elsewhere.

One thing that I am undecided on and would like to hear what you folks think is about placement. I was originally going to place them in the postbit bar between the date and the post# but then I thought this may look cluttered. I don't think it would look good with the buttons I made, but if one of the artists make decent looking substitutions would you like them on the posts or keep them in the profile? The only reason I bring it up is they aren't very apparent without some sort of in-post representation. Opinions?
BTW- You can request a medal in that list by clicking the link on the right.

How about some screenshots of potential placements?

Not a bad idea, but keep in mind it'll look kind of nappy with my medals. I'll try to get this done tomorrow.

i thought it would have been placed either next to the online status or under your rep boxes.
also after clicking the request award link i was told this,
Spawn-Inc, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
and i found a typo, or two :)

I must have set the code up erroneously to have caused that error message. I'll try to figure that out, in the meantime you can PM the requests and I'll get them posted asap. As for the type-o's..ahem...thanks.

I've written two reviews for the Modcast's along with the scripts for the most part.
I have no Metals. :(

I'm adding them as I can, but it is good to let me know if I haven't added something for someone because I have so many to do I could easily miss one.

Regarding placement, I see that if I click on a member it shows up on their info page. Am I correct in guessing it shows up on our Control Panel as well?

It's funny. I hadn't seen this thread when I logged in just now. There was a pop-up about a PM."You've won an award" but no sender information.
I though it would probably be spam...

Yeah, I've been going through the lists and adding the medals to as many as I can each day. I was wondering if the PM's were going out, thanks for the confirmation.

Must be a mammoth task, good luck and thanks for brightening my day. It's nice to be appreciated.

No wrries mate. But looking at the message I think it should say "you've earned and an award" rather than "won" one. I should see if I can edit that, it wasn't a raffle, it was an accomplishment.

Or "received" an award might be better. Covers any eventuality.

Got it, I'm sure I overlooked some because I couldn't get any help and just went through them all in one swoop. I actually asked people to post here if they should have a medal and did not, the first post has a link to the medals where you can click and request one if you have accomplished the task. The request form didn't work before but I may have fixed it. Do me a favor and try requesting the medal so I can see if it's working now?

Right o, do that in one second, just check your PM for a issue with the PM sent telling you you have received a reward.
EDIT: tried it. Got this error
