Paul and I had discussed doing this ages ago but never got around to it. So I added this today. You should see a Digg this icon in the top bar of the posts. If you have a Digg account please Digg posts that you like as much as you are willing to test this feature out for me. Thanks folks!

This is actually pretty awesome, I just dugg a mod and it's now getting outside exposure. I'm going to start diggin mods left and right!

Do you folks want instructions on how to use the Digg feature? It's quite as simple as I thought but it's not rocket science either. I only ask because this is the first time I have used it and I had to try a couple of things to get it to display the digg tag in the thread.

heh, I suppose that does look weird. I've been testing the Digg system to see how it would work. I'm scrapping the BBcodes because it only "Diggs" that particular post. So basically someone's entire worklog could get one Digg per post and it wouldn't do them any good. The idea here is if the digg count gets high enough, the modder might get some added exposure and props for their project. But that will only work if the Digg count is cumulative throughout the thread. I have been looking at the code and considering a way to embed it into the post but I think there is a better way, I'm testing it now so I'll let you know if it works correctly.

Nice good to see we have this functionally built in. I have been a digg user for a long time.

Okay, this current system is going to work much better. The way this works is every thread will have it's own Digg indicator in the top of each page in the blue bar. The Digg count will represent the entire thread rather than the individual post and you can add to the digg count from any page of the thread. You will need a digg account which is easy to set up and free then you can start promoting your favorite projects. I am having trouble removing the original Diggs that I used with the BBcodes so the first page of the featured won't work just yet, but anywhere else should be good. I'll sort that page of featured worklogs out as soon as I can. If you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate it if as many of you who are willing spread some diggs around so I can see if this thing is really going to work well. Thanks a bunch ladies and gents!

If you have added any Digg points to the mods in the featured worklog section in the past couple of days. You'll need to go back and click digg again. I had to create a new forum and move the threads over so they would have a new url and I could replace the diggs, now they can be consolidated and improve the modder's publicity. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience.

As you can see, I've tried (within the last 5 minutes) to digg a build. Now Digg is being pissy.
Edit: So, what they (Digg) are saying is that they don't like competition? Basically, they act as an intermediary as well. Odd.

Please be patient. I've contacted Digg for an explanation for this and I'll keep you posted regarding the answer.
