Nice of them to make clear their intentions in the subject, don't you think?
Perhaps Yahoo marked it as phishing and put that there?

That's what I'm inclined to believe also.. it looks as though the phishing tag was injected as a warning by your mail server.

I've had some awesome ones. The best bit is i have a bam account with any of them.
The best one was the paypal one i had, apparently i owed paypal something like $678 million... Thing is that did look genuine, the email was from paypalservice.com or something like that. which linked to something like www.service.com/paypal.com. i can't remember.

When I was one of the masses on myspace, I found one of those, a redirected sign in page. It was very very well done, very authentic, but firefox caught it. A big red "DON'T DO ANYTHING AT THIS SITE" popped up. the ironic thing was that it linked to the real "don't let phishers catch you" myspace site. I actually had it bookmarked for a while just for the nerdiness of it.
The people who do this get very good at it. They probably steal BANK also. Like thousands of dollars at a time. Those terrible people. Oh well.

I had one show up a while back supposedly for BankOfAmerica, with whom I have no accounts. I gave them some bogus information. I'd disclose what I typed, but this is a family/business oriented site (regardless of what digg says). I'll say this though: George Carlin would have been proud of the email address I came up with!

I like to break them apart, see where the site is hosted from (The one that takes your info), grab the IP, and give it to the hosting provider/police.

Sorry, but I'm kinda confused what is it? What do they take your information? Like a scam?

A classic redirect phishing scheme is what we're talking about here.

I love it when you suddenly get mail from other banks that you've never heard of asking for details. I was tempted to send a reply saying "You twits"
It's like how on Skype I recieved a spam message before. It presented itself as a Windows update advisor and said I desperately needed to update Windows, and listed the versions effected. Yet I use Vista, which wasn't listed. It's bull****, but some people fall for it.

interesting site if you get the chance to have a looksee - users are actively encouraged to (safely) waste as much of the scammers time as possible - they have some pretty 'extreme' ways of doing so (some moderate adult content but it's labled as NSFW when it occurs).
The Register has an article on one of the myspace phishing pages here (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/01/12/poisoned_myspace_page/), most people who read these boards will spot a dodgy email/website a mile away but imho is always good to raise awareness of some of the poop that goes on without scare mongering.
