IM looking to round all of the power cables in my computer, I have already rounded some with this blue expanding mesh stuff, and with some heat shrink plastic, but there are some cables where Id rather not take of the molex, or even attempt it, and I am looking for ideas on waht I should do there :? Thanks in Advance

split Loom,

There is some safety wrap as well and you will need to tape the ends down.

Are you wanting to know how to put the mesh on the molex ended cables that are coming out of the PSU? If so, jsut make sure you have to right tool, and you can take the pins out of the molex connector with ease. Don't try to yank them out, otherwise you will strip the wire or break the connector.

let me know if I am off, because I wasn't entirely sure what you were asking.

nah,. I have worked out how to take the molex's off(some anyway) using the inside of a pen, and some pliers, but tell me more about this "split loom", I.e. is it called that in australia, is there a site for it, etc.

dude most auto parts stores (at least locally to me) sell that stuff way cheaper and you don't have to order it.

mobileray is right about that, you can prolly find that stuff cheaper locally, you can also check http://www.cableorganizer.com/ and find all sorts of differant types of loom in almost any color you need

Gambino, use Staticice(www.staticice.com.au) to find what you are looking for. You can also find everything you need in www.pccasegear.com but they might be a bbit expensive..... well.... that's in my opinon.

ahhh, sweet, this should hopefully do the trick, Im also thinking about getting that plastic you wind around the cables(not suire of the name) and it shrinks or something, harder to describe then show, basically want it to look nice and neat in there

The wire loom is what I was talking about ..

some of the other stuff like this http://www.directron.com/string.html can come off and/or be a pain to wrap your cables with (Done it .. would not use it again unless I was doing something around a window.

Simple UV cable ties are also effective(I'll be getting some for my mod..... even though it won't have a window) and are easy to do. Just make sure you leave in enough space for the cable to move around!

I think I have decided on waht im gonna get, its the flat plastic stuff, that wraps around cables, like the string, but its flat, and wider, seems to do the trick from what I have seen. Another question, leds or cathodes? Im thinking the leds but Im wondering on others opinions :?

LED over CCFL.

I know you've probably already seenthe spiral wrap, but just in case you haven't, try this. It's a little easier than most of the other types, but I don't profess to have tried them all.

BTW, go with the LED - cheaper and prettier.

yeha, that pretty much what Im talking about(the spiral wrap), sweet, with the leds, you can combine all the power cables from them into 1 molex without needing to change any of the specific wiring around. 1 in each corner of the window shining into the case will show off things nicely dont you think? (gotta show off that X800 and pretty mobo 8) ) and thanks for your help, you guys are champs, I glad I found this place :)
