Hey guys!

I just got finished with adding the final components to my case and wanted to show it off. I just changed the cpu block and added a gpu block for better cooling. I went with the fision series blocks. They have nothing but good reviews and the cpu block is currently the best you can buy. I also used the correct amount of ArcticSilver's best paste MX-2. I had over applied the ThermalTake paste which came with my case. I also changed the coolant. I guess the old block started to corrode and tarnished bad. The liquid turned dark green and cloudy(is that normal?).

Anyway, here are some pics. Let me know what you think plz!

Thermaltake water cooling system :(, at least you are using a D-Tek block :), not that Thermaltake crap.

I dont understand why everyone dislikes there WC stuff. Its not as bad as people make it out to be. The block was my only real concern. The pump is rated at 500lph, res and tubing are just fine. The rad seems to be doing a great job.

The blocks need some attention i think. Too heavy and not that exciting to look at.

any idea on the head rating? it's not all about LPH, the rad will do but if you threw a quad core under there your temps would suck major, what are the temps anyway? how old is the pump?

otherwise nice system!

People dislike Thermaltake W/C systems because of their extremely small tubing size, poorly crafted water blocks and flow constrictive radiators. Personally I like their reservoirs (AquaBay) but the fitting sizes were too small for my system so I had to settle with Danger Den.

Im a bit lazy right now so i dont want to load a bunch of stuff to get the load temps but at idle the cpu is at 95f and the vga is at 36. I tried to check the max vid temps earlier and the higest i noticed while running aquamark was 41c. Considerable lower than the mid 50's idle to mid 80's on load. The pump is only 4-5 months old now. frm oz, i know what you mean with the fitting sizes, i first assumed they were the standard G1/4 thread's but there not. It says its compatible with 1/2 ID tube but i dont really see that since the tube would have to be super thin.

Ichbin, it looks killer right now. Its not that i wouldnt mod it but that im not sure if i could make it any better. :)

Thanks khalie.

I guess my next do-able mod is to rearange the wires a bit more for better airflow. Allthough i'll have to get some diffrent fans. Some with the 3pin mobo header connectors. I allready removed the front panel audio and usb because the cords were too short and made everything look funny when they were pluged in.
