cables inside of a computer don't look good, espeacially when you have a window THAT big ->

Is there any solutions to hide them? What about the hard drive flat cables?

Thats an insanely huge window. I love the look of it.

You other post didnt state if you had started to buy your components or not.

The very first thing i would recomend is a modular PSU. Then you can remove any and all uneeded power cables. After buying one myself, i would never go back.

Depending on the gap behind the mobo tray and the length of your cables, you could cut a hole in the mobo tray neer the PSU and route some of the cables behind it. I would also do this for the sata cables. You can turn your HDD's around and have the power/sata cables totaly hidden. You might need to drill new holes for the screws.

If you plan to spend 3k on your system, you can easily do away with all the ribbon cables in a computer. Sata disk drives are about $40 nowdays and you get better performance from them compared to IDE disk drives.

When you install your mother board, route the exhaust fan wires under the mobo. There is plenty of space for fan wires.

And lastly, get a package of black cable sleeving to cover up any wires that cant be hidden easily such as PCI-E power dongles.

The only thing I'd add to J-Roc's post is that if you don't want to sleeve your cables, zip ties are your friend (well even if you sleeve the cables they still may be your friend). I use them all the time. Also, with SATA cables you can cut them and mod them to be shorter like was done Otto over at Metku (http://metku.net/index.html?path=mods/baby-sata/index_eng).

Thanks! I love it too, but I decided to go with watercooling and a different case, so I am going to put this on ebay soon. That information can be tracked on the botom of a worklog.

Next pay check =)

Can you please tell me more about it, as I never heard about anything like that. What is it and where can I get one?

mobo tray
I don't remember what mobo tray is =) can you remind me?

cable sleeving
couldn't find anything like that on newegg. can you give me a link so that I know what it is like and where to buy it?

I am sorry I am new to all of this! This was my first mod too.... and it is a first time I am building a custom build computer (that's why I am using help of guys from one other technical website)

sleeve your cables What's cable sleeving? and why I shouldn't be using it?

Now the thing with the SATA cables got me very exited!! THANK YOU very much for that link. It is something I will do with my case for SURE!

Do you have anything else like that? Any other tutorials? Anything at all that can help?

Thanks to both of you guys!
waiting for your replies.

The mobo tray is the thing you mount the motherboard on, lol.

EDIT: Cable sleeving is a tube-like thing you run the cables through. Makes for everything to be a bit neater in the case.

ANOTHER EDIT: Modular PSUs are made so you can unhook any excess cables from them to save on space and make cable management easier.

Newegg has a large selection of modular PSUs. I did a quick "advanced search" and came up with 104 results (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010320058%201297819680&bop=And&Order=PRICE).

If you use a modular PSU, sleeving the cables will be easier (no need to splice wires, etc.) and the connectors can be takes apart fairly easy.

I wish I had some more good tutorials for hiding cables and cable management, but nothing is coming to mind right now. I'll look for more things...

i would run the cable behind the motherboard tray and then have them pop out where they plug into the motherboard.
