I just found out that my older brothers baby daughter might have down syndrome. Nobody seems to know for sure yet, but its a possibility. There is also of course the possibility that a mistake has been made or something of that nature.
So because I do believe that prayer, whether religious or not, works, I would very very much appreciate if you would all join me in hoping/praying/believing for the best.
Thank you all so very much, I hope that our collective prayers and thoughts will help us all though this stressful situation. Who knows, maybe this really is just a mistake on the doctors part and everything will be fine. But if its not, we'll make it through this and I'm sure this collective of good thoughts and wishes and prayer will help.
Man, when life gets hard on you, it really knows how to kick you when your down. :( Just seems like one thing after another anymore...

Okay, I seemed to have misunderstood. Its not their baby girl, who is 2 years old, so that makes sense now. Its their current baby that they are having. I don't know how long it has been into the pregnancy though. Kind of funny though... nobody ever told me that they were having another child. Yea, thats not messed up at all. /confused ....maybe I was playing WoW when they told me? /meak attempt at making myself laugh.
So the good news, I'm going to be an uncle AGAIN! Bad news, she/he might have down syndrome.
Good news again, since its still early into the pregnancy things could definitely change, so prayer could definitely help even more so now than before.
