It has windows 2000 pro which needs to go... I was thinking xp lite? Any suggestions? I'm in love with xp honestly so I'd like to stay away from linux...i think?

No, but maybe the guy's car that I bought it from? Got to looking and it's really a p2 300MHz... and the wireless he claimed it had was really just an ethernet adapter.

Maybe look at a same sized notebook motherboard and see if you can do some modding.

I actually REALLY like the case of the laptop. I plan on getting another one off of eBay for much cheaper, and gutting it. I can almost promise a lot of you would feel the same way just looking at it in person. It's like the laptop version of the ammo can mods.

He's going to refund me 2morrow.
