I am trying to engrave a logo into some 1/4" acrylic and I would like to know how I can make the etched areas glow. I know that leds can be used but is there any other ways to do this like using a UV light. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

UV won't work as it relies on UV sensitive paint. You could use a highlighter pen to mark the engraved area and shine UV on that.

If you etch a piece of acrylic, and edge light it with any light source, the etching will light up. :) Works with any color, not just UV.

I found this on make.com. There used to be a thread on here that explained it even better than what I found, but I can't find it. Anyway, enjoy.
