I am looking for a good small point and shoot camera for taking pictures at parties and stuff. Any suggestions. I don't want to spend great wads of cash but something reasonable.

I would say either of these would be a good bang for the buck/investment. Psh, I remember paying around a hundred bucks for mine and it isn't even half as good as either of these. :(

I think my dad owns one of these, but an earlier model. I've always loved it too, I think its a 5mp or something, can't really remember though. Looks almost just like these though.

Is that about the right price range or were you thinking less? much less? maybe more? or cheap disposable? lol

I go with Kodak for cheap disposable btw, I don't like that fujifilm stuff. My shots always end up weird for some reason when I use there disposables.

Found a better one... I didn't search through the compacts or ultra compacts. I thought they would of been more expensive... apparently not.

I am gonna go with a DSC-W80 as I already have a 1gb memory stick for it sitting around. Also a friend from overseas has one and she really likes. I had a play and it is a nice litle camera.

The Sony Cybershot is one sweet little camera. Brushed Aluminum FTW.
