Who believes that aliens actually crashed in Roswell?

They might... they might not have. Not enough evidence for me to believe either, lol... I dunno what I think. It'd be nice to know whether or not we're "alone" in this universe but I'm not entirely sure this planet's ready for visitors... just look at it! lol

I am a firm believer in alien life. I don't care if there's no evidence or not, but if WE can be alive, then something else has to be too.
However I didn't vote, because I don't know enough about the "crash".

Yes, aliens crashed in Roswell. But they're not from outer space.... they're from other countries.

by the law of averages, there can't be just us in the universe...
but why would any life forms sufficiently advanced to be able to travel the great distances required to get to Earth want to be here?
Maybe Earth's entry in The Guide needs updating slightly...
"Mostly Harmless" indeed... Makes it sound like a holiday resort.

I belive they did crash is Roswell, New Mexico.
They were searching for extraterrestrial life on another planet and they found it; Us.
Upon entering the earths atmosphere the ratios of gases earth's stratosphere: 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 0.9% argon, 0.03% carbon dioxide. compromised there propulsion system, and they crashed landed. I also think one was still alive when they found the wreckage.
Or they were shot down. .

I think the stupidity field (just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't exists) affected their intelligence and they accidentally crash landed. But before they could repair their craft, they were liberated!

I am a strong believe in Alien Life, Personaly i believe they did crash and that either the evidence has been destroyed or it is being reverse-engineered. Sightings of such craft go back thousands of years... its not just an "idea" created by pop culture, if it was why are such similar "craft" depicted in cave drawings and such?
With the possibility of so many universes, within each univserse thousands of galaxies, within each galaxy billions of stars, and within each start system, planets (sometimes) that gives almost unlimited possibility of life other than our own, and with about hell maybe 6 billion years for them to develop (the life of earth), they could have evolved faster than life on earth and even be ahead of our civilization by thousands if not millions of years! with that as a possibility their technology could be so far developed that i see no reason for such a task of moving across a universe let alone a galaxy to be impossible. With the worm hole, and the "ability" to bend space and time, it makes it all the more possible.
With our minimum knowledge of the universe there is so much that could be possible that we can't even imagine.
ANYWAY, back to the point. First of all, there were many sightings of wreckage with "unusual" properties, the military originally said yes it was a "UFO" but later took that back and called it a "weather balloon".
Yet, there is some very interesting arguments about it being a "Mogul Spy Balloon" which was constructed with materials resembling those of the crash: A Tinfoil like material, Balsa wood, and unusual markings supposedly attributed to "kids tape" bought by the US military for the project due to either a shortage of normal tape or somethign of the sort, i dont exactly recall...
Well, i think i covered all the bases :P

Than I guess the better question is: Do you think alien life exists with the capability to travel at Light Speed? There are trillions of planets out there, but they're so damn far away

Alien life existing? Yes. Light speed? Yes. Time travel? Yes. Saying yes to everything even though current science says that traveling at light speed and time travel are unlikely..... yes!

I believe there is life out there somewhere, but do i believe we have been visited? Damned if i know. I doubt it to be honest. But when it comes down to it, we don't have any idea what life on other planets is capable of. I'm sure there are some planets less civilized, I'm sure there are planets more civilized, but does anyone on our planet even know if it REALLY is possible to travel across the universe? In the lifetime of a couple living beings? I don't entirely reject the possibility but i don't necessarily believe there are creatures flying here from across the universe. But I'd bet any amount of money that there is more life out there.

they would have to be fairly smart beings to travel at light speed, considering the fact that if a molecule with any mass at all was accelerated to c, the mass of the molecule would = infinity. our whole universe would be filled with that one particle.
(this is coming from my astronomy professor)
so they would have to work around that tiny detail in the laws of our universe. Relativity is pretty intense.

not with the ability to travel at light speed, because that is impossible to an extent. The faster an object goes (close to the speed of light) the larger each individual atom becomes, thus the craft would become almost infinitely large. Thus i believe the form of travel would either A, be able to bend time and space to propel the craft and not take such impossible time to reach destination or B be able to utilize worm holes to bend space
