Hey everyone, I'm finally back up and running. I've had the most stressfull week of my life!!!
Basically to make a long story short, and mainly because I don't want to "Re-live" every detail. My computer crashed on me, Lost my hard drive, and couldn't get it back up running untill today.
Last sunday I took my computer apart and removed all the electronics to move over into my Motorized madness. It took a few days to get everyting installed and the water blocks setup. I did a leak test and found a small leak at one of the radiators. no biggie, but then I noticed a leak comming from the resevoir in the turbine. BAD!!! It had to dismantle the entire case to get to it This meant disconnecting tubing from parts that were at the time, not leaking. So I fixed the leak, set it all back up and found I had new leaks. So finally got everthing fixed and leak tested ok. Then it came time to boot my machine and it wouldn't go into windows, just kept rebooting at the windows loading screen. Always rebooted in the same spot too. well I found out my hard drive got corrupeted some how and I had to reinstall windows. only to find out it wouldn't install. I spent 3 days tracking down the culprit, and to be honest, I really dont' know what it was, after reseating memory, removing everything that didnt' need to be there, checking power supply etc. It finally started to let me reinstall windows. -Running on 1 stick of ram. So I got windows installed (bare bones) with no software installed yet. and i started to add back in the other components one at a time to see what was causing it. -turns it it didn't like 4gb of ram. as soon as I put the other 2 sticks in, it corupted the hard drive again! So another reinstall, and after loading my ethernet drivers, here I am.
I'm so F'n exhausted and pissed off about my ordeal. At least its working now. and the case is finised. I still have to take some final pictures and adjust the timing for the motorization to get it right before I take some videos.
oh, and I have to reinstall EVERYTHING!!! all my games, programs, settings, etc are all gone. (CRYING!)
So, what really sucks is that work woudn't let me get online anymore to do any research about this. So I was on my own.
So, It may be a few days, I'm going to relax for a few days and get everything setup again before I do any updates.
