Exactly as the title says... Has anyone ever heard of one? I personally think that would be one of the most useful things ever, esp. when benchmarking.

ATI catalist has a temp monitor, and if I recall correctly it seems that ATI tool has a meter of sorts. Or are you speaking of an external gauge that can be mounter on the case? I had wondered about this too while ago, like an entire dashboard for a PC. My L.I.S. VFD display can monitor just about any parameter, but not at the same time.

You mean like something to read how much memory and processor power are being used (on the card)? Never seen one...
That would be useful for benchmarking though.

A software meter, though an external would be nice.

Thats exactly what I was thinking of. It seems like such a simple thing yet, there aren't any that I can find.

AFAIK i don't believe such hardware exists but that would be neat too see 4 sure!

I was thinking more along the lines of software that reads these values...

I think I've seen one before in NVidia tools... but I'm not sure.

me too, mybad. i'm not even sure how you would make hardware to do such a thing.

it could be like those older Corsair XMSs...

Here is one for you, comes with the GPU though:

The card has a built on screen that monitors temps and voltages and such, plus it has a good cooler on it.
The CoolBits mod for Nvidia graphics card ads overclocking and temp monitoring from the Nvidia ControlPanel.
i use everest ultimate, and have it connected to my G15 keyboard where it shows mhz usaged... idle @ 506 and then peaks @ 648 or something:P... everything is measurable in that program:)

I also use Everest, it's an awesome program.

So everest can measure video card usage? If so, can it measure VRAM usage also?
Thanks,
