Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance

Picked this game up today at Wally world have have been playing with it since. Default graphics are a little harsh on my system. What really grabbed me on this game was the 2 monitor support. You play the game on your main monitor and you turn the other monitor into your satellite map. You can slid over and adjust the zoom level or select units you need to send somewhere. I think I saw a little blip on this here somewhere but couldn't find it so I am sorry if someone beat me to this.
The only things I could say are missing is you can't click on your satellite image and autofocus on that area of the map and there is no 'view box' to tell you where your main screen is on the satellite image. But is fun. Now I just have to get the hang of it and not get killed every time I play.

if you zoom long enough down try hitting space and move your mouse:)... your in for one nice suprice if you dont know this feature:D pure gfx genious!

I'll keep practicing but I'm sure you'll stomp me into paste. I'll have to try that spacebar thing. Do you use the dual monitor setup too or just one?

Supreme Commander is pretty cool... just takes me too long to get all that **** built and all. I used to love CnC3 but you know EA, they patched the hell out of it and ended up ruining the side I liked playing as... jerkasses, lol.

Supreme Commander is cool though. Surprisingly enough I have it maxed out at 1280x1024 with an 8500GT, lol. I should try playing it a bit more later today.

Thats weird. I think whats getting it is the CPU. But the minimum is 1.8Ghz recommended is 3.0Ghz and I'm running 2.5Ghz so I though it would be ok. Maybe I should start looking at how I can overclock this thing to 3Ghz. Hmm nope, my luck this will end in sparks, smoke and tears.

i have heard even if you meet the requirements it still lags and what not. like crysis and flight simulator 10. i downloaded it to try it and it was good but just not my game. if i still had it i would try the dual monitors now that i have them but i don't feel like buying it or dling it again.

haha yeah:P.... but im usually god at RTS games:P... before the other dudes had their first experimental out i had already made 3 galactic collosus and a c-zar:P that was bout 24/30 min into the game

Bummer, its really fun to play. I was playing a bit ago and had to go run some errands and saved it but against the normal computer all I've been able to do after 1.5 hours is get my defenses up and keep them at bay. It keeps sending wave after wave of heavy bots at my shields.

hehe... your gonna get soooooooo pwned xD if you have a decent defence after 1.5 hour your gonna get trouble with handeling a galactic collosus 13 min into the game:P... ill learn you the basic tacs and so on when we game:p

i just got the game forged alliance original so i could play online... i thought... yeah i could play online as ONE faction... nowhere on the game did it say "you can only play the new faction or else you have to buy the original game too".... omg this is lame... means that i actually have to BUY the other one to play the faction i would like to.... how very sucky made

if you have supreme commander forged alliance original, you can play online, but only as seraphin. if you dont have any of the originals we can still play:).. ive added you on msn, just accept that and we will talk:D
