one of those should be for your HDD indicator light and the other for power indicator
connected as one through casing:
mic in
mic bias
spkr out l/r
return l/r
ground
these are for your front panel audio connections, I don't use mine
i got Jfp1 figured out...but theres all this

I honestly don't know what this is

connected as one through casing:
1-d
1 ground
1+vcc
1+d

connected as one through casing:
2 ground
2-d
2+vcc
2+d
those are for your USB connections

i have no idea how to connect any of this.

There should be a page in your manual for the MB which shows which wires are which and each of the connectors will be labeled as to what they are. Beyond that, I'm not exactly sure what you are having trouble with.

JUSB AND JUSB 2 are for usb...obviously,

this is how they look

9oDDDD1
10DDDDD2

D=pins o=empty

so in which order will i wire them?
my mb manual givs me a pin definition but it has different things then what i have.

i will ditch the front audio connections.

gnd
vcc
tpa+
tpb+
tpb-
tpa-
gnd

may be for the front LED lights or the stupid thermal sensor..

Hmmm... Maybe take the front of the case off and see where are the wires lead? That one Jon didn't know might be Firewire... But I don't know. Like I said, take the front off, find where the lead to, and it'll give you a much better idea.

i have my MB manual, and those instructions are no help.

last night i actually got the power buttons and audio in correctly, plugged it in and nothing happened...is this all i need to actually get power to my system?

i took the front panel off to get a better understanding...seems like i hooked it up right last night...and there appears to be no lose connections. im going to mess with it again later.

Oh yeah, the one I didn't know (with the tpa/- etc) is the firewire so if you aren't going to use it you can forget those too. As for the power, yes, if you have the power button plugged in to the MB and the power supply is correctly connected to the MB (and turned on, it's embarrassing how many times I've forgotten that) you should be able to juice up the system. If it's not working, you have the plugs in the wrong place. There are other ways to test like shorting the power lead posts and such but if this is new to you I would recommend sticking with the textbook install until you get it figured out. Also, if you can give us some good close up pics of the connections and maybe someone can see what's wrong.

.i know my way around the front connections and audio...again, i dont need the firewire. do i connect the connections to the motherboard with the white writing facing left or right, top or bottom....as far as i know im doing everything right. if what i posted didnt help then i might take pictures of me hooking the stuff up to my motherboard...and maybe somebody will see something but as far as i know i connected the power correctly, tried to turn the computer on and nothing happened.
