Thought this would be fun for everyone, as we're all a bunch of geeks, nerds and/or "other", I think we should be pretty good at this. :)

The name of the game is called "Scene it!", its a lot like the game you can buy on DVD, except this is online in a forum and not on a DVD.

Pretty much everything remains the same; Someone posts either a picture, video clip, sound clip or a script excerpt from any popular movie (popular obviously, since we don't want movies that no one has ever heard of) and we all try to guess what movie its from!

I'll start it off! :bunny:

You remind me of the babe
What babe?
Babe with the power
What power?
Power of voodoo
Who do?
You do
Do what?
Remind me of the babe

Can you "Scene it"? What movie is this from? (This one is easy, you betta not miss it! :p)

First Clue:

hmmm....I would have said Labryrinth on this one too. Neverending Story?

Oh, just saw Kermit. Now I'm not sure anymore.

Meh, I'll give it to you since I think you know it and because you did say it.

The Dark Crystal

Explanation of the Clue: Jim Henson is not only famous for Kermit the Frog, but he also directed "Labyrinth" as well as "The Dark Crystal".

I was going to post a picture of "a dark crystal", but I felt that that would of given it away too easily. So I did kermit the frog in hopes someone would go.. kermit... kermit.. jim henson... his movies... THE DARK CRYSTAL! lol or something like that...

Sorry about the lack of integration into the post, but I have yet to figure out how to do so unless its a Youtube clip. So if anyone has a suggestion, please let everyone know so if someone wants to do a sound clip, they can do it properly.

Correct!

It was from the movie I believe, but Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy none the less. :) Love that narrator! He speaks nothing but pure genius!

oh and how awesome was my clue? ha, I thought it was pretty clever at least. Maybe a little too obvious though I guess...

Oooh! I think thats it! I watched a review on the new Rambo movie recently and I think they mentioned the line at question. Maybe not though, I know I've heard it somewhere recently though... :scratches chin some more:

It was quite the clever clue. The clue may have been a bit obvious, but I was pretty sure just from the sound file, the clue only confirmed it really.

I'm trying to think of a movie to post, but I can't think of any quotes that would be recognisable yet still present a challenge.

Ghostbusters is correct!

Oh yea, isnt that when they are in the sewers?

Nope, thats from Ghostbusters II. :)

I believe the quote is from when they are first using their ray guns or whatever they are called, I forget. It was in the fancy hotel when we first see slimer I believe. They were "attending to a cockroach" that somebody saw up on floor twelve.

Nope, I remember now. They're called Proton Guns or Particle Throwers, thanks for the confirmation wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proton_Pack)!

Scene:
Person one: [picking out weapons and gear] Do ya know what we need, man? Some rope.
Second dude: Absolutely. What are you, insane?
Person one: No I ain't. Charlie Bronson's always got rope.
Second dude: What?
Person one: Yeah. He's got a lot of rope strapped around him in the movies, and they always end up using it.
Second dude: You've lost it, haven't ya?
Person one: No, I'm serious.
Second dude: That's stupid. Name one thing you'd need a rope for.
Person one: You don't ****in' know what you're gonna need it for. They just always need it.
Second dude: What's this 'they' ****? This isn't a movie.
Person one: Oh, right.
[picks up large knife out of bag]
Person one: Is that right, Rambo?
Second dude: All right. Get your stupid ****in' rope.
Person one: I'll get my stupid rope. I'll get it. There's a rope right there.

Clue:
The word "****" and its derivatives are used a total of 246 times throughout this movie. [Not so much of a clue as it is just downright awesome trivia lol]

"In a surprise announcement, the Republican National Committee has revealed it is bankrupt. A spokesman for the party said they had plenty of money in their accounts last week, but today they just don't know where the money has gone. But not everybody is going begging.
