Double click on folder not working

So i was trying to change the icon for the folders. I clicked on folder options-> file types and highlighted file folder and then clicked advanced. The edit file type menu came up and I clicked change icon. After i did this my double click quite working. I can double click on my computer, c drive, but not the folders in them do not work with double.

did you accidentally shut it off? go to folder options and look at the first thing that comes up, the third option down make sure its double click,
