I'm not new to modding, I've just been "out of the loop" so to speak.
School took away all modding time! But now I want to start up again.
Now I don't know much about water cooling, but it sure looks cool!
I just want to know if I should get one or not?
The system I'm building is a P4 2.6, 2GIG DDR2, and the 6600GT PCIExpress x16
I just want some input before I spend my money.
Thanks

Unless you're planning to overclock, watercooling is a very expensive way to get a slightly lower noise level - if you ARE going to try to overclock, then watercooling makes a lot more sense.
As for the question "Get one or not" thats kinda worrying - sure you can get kits but the best performance tends to be from buying the bits you need and connecting them yourself, in which case you'd be looking at (as a minimum) a radiator, CPU waterblock, pump and tubing, on top of which you SHOULD really use a reservoir, and potentially waterblocks for your Gfx chip and northbridge.

I don't plan on overclocking.
But if I do I might just get one instead.
Another thing, anyone know where to find a steal on cases?
The one place I use to order from (free shipping on all cases) went out of biz.
Thanks

instead of water cooling spend your cash on more memory and a better video card, overclocking your processor is pointless.

More memory? I have 2 gigs.... I mean I run PS a lot, but 2 gigs seems to be holding up.
And my video card kicks.
I think I'll just save my money. I don't need a better video card. I mean it'd be nice, but I don't need it.
thanks for the information guys.
Also, wish me luck, I gotta go in and take my CCNA and MSCE.....
So it's time to go to bed!

i was just saying, if you were bent on spending that much money, dont spend it on watercooling.

servercase.com and casedepot.com are good places to get discount cases.
