CompUSA website working with TigerDirect?

Interesting I noticed today. It seems like compusa's webstore is freakishly close to tigerdirect.

Pretty much the exact same setup. Did Tigerdirect absorb compusa? Since I know they have been shutting the doors on a lot of the stores.

CompUSA is now owned by Systemax, which owns TigerDirect too.

hehe..i know all about this crap...seein as i was a former employee

here it goes..

the sale of the company was a complete surprise to all of us...including my managers.... we didnt even know till the 11th of december...i think it was... that they were closin down

they sold the merch to liquidators and the company name to tiger direct

TD will be opening like...16 or so stores around the US as compusa's and they are working on changing over to the CUSA name from what im told

the TD part is because they are known for being mail order only and want to get out into the retail world...and cusa already has a established name


btw.. this is all just what im told by my managers....i dont honestly know how true all this is...but it sounded good to me
