Hi, my friend is making a website and he wants a 4chan theme to it. We already tried making one, but failed miserably. Does any one here know of a place I could get a 4chan style website theme?

They have a ton of free templates for download, but not sure if they have 4chan styled one. You'll have to search.

And why would you want a 4chan styled theme? Their layout and organization sucks. Unless it's an important part of the site I would stay clear of that type of layout. But thats just my opinion. Hopefully the above link will help you out.

Thanks for the site, but I just tried it out and could not find anything.

First, I don't think the chan layout is that bad. It'll be fine on his site because his will be very simple.

Second, he wants the 4chan theme because his website the website for his Ragnarok server, which has items focused around 4chan and its memes.

RO server based around teh chan eh?

youll have to pm me the info for it...like file links etc...havent installed RO in a while

I would think you could find a template pretty easily for that.
Just search around some.

Thats why I came to you guys (the experts of one thing or another). I already searched google and several template sites. I've tried searching "4chan", "Futaba", "2chan" and burichan because those are all possible names for the themes.

I really don't think they'd be able to help. They'd probably go on about something else if I brought it up.

Wouldn't it be funny though if moot came in and posted it?

they'll tell you that it runs off of the futaba imagechan software, iirc

I remember reading the history of the 4chan software, I just forget it. It's based off of 2chan's system.
