Webcam showing... Arizona?? lol

So... its really weird. But my friends webcam is showing her and the desert, I'm guessing a background on her desktop. Its weird. Its like showing her face mostly, but around it is very glitchy and showing a desktop background. Anyone know whats up??

I know there is a feature on some messenger in which you can put yourself in front of a dynamic background. That way it will look like the person on the cam is in the dessert or under water or something.

It works by letting the webcam take a shot of the room without the person in front of it, and then some software filters the changes from the images, so all pixels that are the same become transparent and will show the dessert, but the pixels that are different will show the changed pixels (the head of the person behind it)

This might also be the case on her webcam, though I'm not sure...
