Can someone explain to me?
the switch is made so that it is "surface" mount making it vandal resistant
meaning there is no way that the switch can be messed with as far as removal/vandalism
plus, they look pretty good :P

So...it's so nobody else can turn your computer on?
they are just like any other switch......just push on/off...they are surface mounted...where as if you used a toggle switch the little knob can be broken

they are kind of "vandal resistant" so if some little kid comes and plays with your computer he will have to do two things to turn your computer on or off, and if you bump it while the cover is down it will not turn off. plus they look cool:D
