I should implement something like that... I do have plenty of spare time and a person or two near me that'd be interested in this too AND I'm getting a job soon, so this may happen! No more empty words, lol.
Nice find by the way.

If you go to his website there are a few more wiimote things. I really like the one where he makes infrared emitting glasses. And the wiimote tracks them giving a 3-d effect on the screen.
It's hard to explain but if you like this one you should check the others out too.

that video is old, and i've already done and used it. it's neat but doesn't exactly work to well with my round tube CRT. it did work pretty good on my dads LCD. i need to find a better way to mount the wiimote, like he did. i had it on a tripod. at best i could only make it work with 3 corners of the screen.
Pics of the pen i made, also made it work with my test PSU.

the power supply was actually inspired by bucko's test psu here (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9059&highlight=test).

no worklong.
basically i just got a pen, emptied it out and got an infrared led (3mm) and wired it up with a laser switch i had laying around. once that was done i put some heatshrink on the end to hold the wires in place so if it got pulled it would be fine. instead of putting a battery pack at the end of the wire i used a test power supply i made from a old psu. the black box that is on the psu that says radioshack was from an old alarm system.
thats the only thing you really need to make. after than just grab your wii remote and bluetooth dongle and download the program.

I posted this a few months ago here (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12165). :smoker:
Glad to see we think alike, or at least find the same things interesting lol.
