I'm just wondering if the Zalman CNPS-9700A cools a lot better than the CNPS-9500A? I'm getting one of them and wanted to know if the added cooling power of the 9700 was worth the far larger size.

Also has anyone over clocked an AMD 6400+ Black Edition with one of these products? How high can you get it without pushing the temperature too high?

Thanks in advance

I'm running a 9700 on my E8400 system (Throttle Junkie), and the cooling is great. I cant give you numbers unfortunately, because the temp sensor is insane. It said (at first) that I was idling at 44'C, then that I was hitting -27'C under load.

Basically, I overclocked the machine pretty hard to get my score up in 3DMark06, but the base of the cooler never even got warm to the touch. I'd say it's pretty slick, and I'm very happy with it.
