I'm sorry but whatever this man gets it will never be enough punishment....This is one of those things that hit me really close. I have alot of strong morals and this is one of them that rank high on my list of things not to do. I have no sympathy for him for what the military or anyone else does to him. Blessed be guys......

Yup, mean thing to do indeed. I find it a bit more disturbing how much attention and sensation this incident received in comparison to the fates of many people in that region however. Doesn't make the news much though, so I suppose it's no bother eh?

Could the puppy be possibly dead? Also, if it was going down a clif, the sound of the dog would get softer. Fake or not, this was a stupid video to make. Even if it is fake, this person should be punished.

Dead is my guess. I didn't watch the video (nor will I ever) but a "throw" and a "cliff" sound like it would either kill or seriously injure the animal.

I read an article that a Marine spokesman said that this (poor excuse for a) Marine was being guarded because of the surge in anger against him for the "alleged" incident. I'm sorry people, but when someone has you on fricken camera, IMO, the incident is no longer "alleged". One thing is certain though.. for every dumba$$ Marine like this, there are probably 10,000 waiting to talk to him... out by the tree line.

I just found a couple of this video on youtube that haven't been pulled yet and to me its hard to say. Dead or alive the Marine shouldn't be pulling something like that on camera or at all. I would be questioning my friendship with the person who had the video for posting it in the first place.

What I can't agree with though is there are people out there in the youtube community who, I can't say the info is accurate, are posting the address of this guy. Not cool no matter the circumstances in my book.

What's sick about this video is that while it may be a fake, or genuine, There are people even more screwed up than this Motari clown---Posting his contact info, address, friends, family and all their info. The internet is a sick place, and there are people prepared to kill others over stupid videos.

They scare me more than Motari does. maybe YOU will be the next victim of internet stalking.

And while in our Western view we see this act as 'deplorable' and depraved, consider that in many other cultures, people see this video and say:

"Wow, that soldier-man just threw away a perfectly good meal"
