Today will be hard

Sorry I havent been showing my face lately but I have been busy.

Some of you may remember my grandfather's health problems. For those that dont and may want to know, he had cancer in his lungs that spread to his liver, legs, spinal cord, and neck. They lost everything and my uncle and I moved them from florida back to Maryland where I live in 2 days. He was doing ok for a few weeks then had a heart attack Saturday. In the hospital saturday night he was on alot of pain medicine and wasnt himself but he still new my name and wanted to see me. He told me not to worry about him and go the he!! home :rolleyes:. The last few days his state has gotten worse and a 1 am he passed.

That was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, saying goodbye. Im sorry. I cant write anymore.

I know how you feel as my grandfather passed dec 20 of 2000. He also died of cancer that spread like wildfire through him. That was the hardest thing I ever did was saying goodbye. I sill miss him. So if you need a shoulder man I'm here for ya.

I lost my father when I was 12 from Brain Cancer and I know the pain you feel. Sorry for your loss.

I lost my Grandfather over summer of 2007. I didn't even get to see him in the hospital, he was away on vacation in Minnesota, while I was in California. If you want to talk PM me.

Thank you everyone for the support. I just wish I could have done more. But now, I have to help my grandmother. It has taken its tole on her, taking care of him for the last few months. Im going to try and help her get back on her feet.

I will say, Im glad he went quickly at home in his sleep. Now he isnt in pain and we dont have to watch him suffer.

Thank you again. Im going to take something and try and get some sleep. Ive been up for a few days now.
