You can order custom cut pieces of aluminum, copper, brass, titanium etc. from these guys...reasonably priced too! $21 with shipping for a piece of aluminum that will soon become the front of my current project. Not bad!

Ouch, reading the prices for this stuff is gonna make my case a heck of alot more expensive. (I'm planning on using aluminum siding to make something that's dimensions are like 1'x1.2'x3 or so.)

Remember that ALL metals have skyrocketed in price.

Brass and Copper supplies went to make ammo for the war, and now we are seeing the impact.

I <3 scrap metal. Street signs are awesome (high grade 1/16th inch stainless, very, very tough metal and easy to make look nice) and pretty cheap too.

So I ordeded a nice little piece of aluminium that cost $9.00....and they used about 8lbs of packing material to ship it. I wondered why shipping was $13.00 ba$tards.

not a bad idea about street signs Omega...that would be awesome!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think in most states you can be charged with up to manslaughter for stealing a stopsign. That's not fun. But acquiring streetsigns like Woodstock, Stoner or Hard rd is. :banana:

You're right - that's why stopsign theft is a Really Bad Idea.
