I rather like this new Foxconn direction... picked up my AM2/nF570 board for $45, half off... They're solid critters. If I needed a board like this one, I wouldn't hesitate.

Tigerdirect.Com has 1GB Crucial DDR2 for 9.99$
Hell for parts that cheap I could build a computer lab.

I have a Pentium D 945, 960.

Its a great budget setup.

That would handle most games on medium, right? If i got this I would go w/ 4 gb's of ram. So for roughly $350 I could build a gaming rig.

Looks pretty solid for a cheap mATX mobo, but I would read those newegg reviews a little closely before purchasing. It appears that the documentation is extremely poor, IDE controllers are especially quirky, and it is particularly picky with memory. Just a heads up.

You get what you pay for....what would be the next best one? I think since I already have a p4 ht I could buy this mobo,an 8500gt, and 4 gb's of ram for a cheap gaming pc.

I got mine hooked it up. . started right up. Best $29.99 I ever spent.
I had to flash the bios in order to install vista.

Steps I took:

At first Windows vista ultimate wouldn't complete installation.
I Downloaded the updated bios from the foxconn website. http://www.foxconnchannel.com/support/downloads_detail.aspx?ID=en-us0001310

Created a DOS boot cd with the program PowerIso.
I downloaded the DOS Boot image http://www.bootdisks.us/ms-dos/5/ms-dos-bootable-cd-images.html
and loaded the image (iso) Then I added the updated bios files I downloaded from the foxconn website to the disk and burned the cd.

I set CDROM as the first boot device, saved the Bios, Rebooted to load the cd.
After it loads DOS select the drive the cd is in. Example. d:\

Type d:\run afu865.exe it loads the Flash Utility.
Step one is saving the origonal Bios I named it "515f1p55.bin" so I could move onto the next step and hit no for no backup.

Step two looks exactly like step one except you specify the file your using to replace the original.
Type "515f1p55.bin" hit enter ad it will program the flash memory.
Make sure you remove the CD or floppy before rebooting.

To the best of my knowledge they are. I don't think this motherboard supports them though. I needed a cheap replacement for my ASUS P5N32Sli-Delux that burned up. Link (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13162) to where I Jerry Rigged it, worked for a month then it wouldn't start.
Attempting to get a replacement from ASUS, but there RMA department is slow as snail.

Hey I just noticed that the board pictured in this post is similar but different than the one linked to on newegg. Not sure if you grabbed the wrong pics but you show a mATX board with what looks like all the same stuff as the board on NewEgg just less expansion slots, because the board on the NewEgg link is a full ATX board. And on NewEgg it's also $39.99 maybe you sent the wrong link, very similar models I think the only difference being the form factor. Just though I'd mention that I noticed that.
