stay away from most kits, they use ****ty parts and don't last very long.

if you want a kit then go with any of the swiftech kits below. they are well known for performance and quality.

otherwise build your own system, its not very hard to do. tell me what you want to cool (specs) and a budget and i will make a good setup.

so 600-800 for just the water cooling or pc+water cooling?

here is what i have built twice now for friends and its a nice light-medium gaming pc.

GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128059&Tpk=GIGABYTE%2bGA-P35-DS3L)
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145590)
Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115032)
CORSAIR CMPSU-450VX (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139003)
Radeon HD 3650 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102726)

total: $447.96 (usd)
then add w/e hard drive, dvd/cd burner/rom, case, monitor, keyboard and mouse you want and your set with a system that will rull full blast with hl2 source stuff and crysis on medium.

Oh and welcome! enjoy your stay!

oh so just take the power supply i selected out and you can use the rest. though that psu is a bit over kill for a 600-800 budget.

but are you going intel or amd?
what do you want cooled? (cpu, video cards, chipsets, etc)?

the case and the power supply are not part of my budget, my dad had bought it for himself but never actually used it.. i think im going to go with intel...
Im mostly going to use the computer for video and picture editing (photo shop, paint shop, power director etc.) and of course gaming, considering what i want the pc for what would be the best option to watercooled?

I don't want burst any bubbles or anything but are you sure you NEED watercooling, or as I mentioned in a similar thread is it simply for the "cool" factor?

With a 600-800$ budget, your cutting at least 200$ for a decent water cooling solution. At that price range you could get much better hardware/performance than even watercooling and overclocking could get you. I learned this the hard way.

I think you would be better off putting that money towards better hardware, but in the end it is up to you. The Swiftech H2O Ultra is a great piece of kit. It is what I have, except I have the chipset block as well and use different coolant than what is supplied.

yes i was going to say water cooling for a pc with a 600-800 budget won't be the what your looking for. go with stock/low-medium end air.

but if you really want w/cing then get this one http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-H20-120-Compact-CPU-Liquid-cooling-Kit-pr-3862.html
